Exciting News: Ross Full-Time MBA Program is Expanding Application Fee Waivers

Today the Full-Time MBA Program at the Ross School of Business has an exciting announcement on the expansion of our application fee waiver criteria.

We're all about pushing boundaries and ensuring that every aspiring business leader has the opportunity to thrive at our top-ranked, No. 1 public university business school. 

The future is looking brighter for active prospective students interested in Ross, and here's how:

Starting right this second, we're thrilled to declare the expansion of our Full-Time MBA application fee waiver. Drumroll, please! Fee waivers are now granted to ANY applicant who engages with us at an event, whether it's virtually or in person. Yes, you heard it right - attend an event with us, and you're in for an application fee waiver!

Fee waivers upon request will also continue to be available to:

  • Members and veterans of the U.S. Military
  • Members of Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, Teach for America, Teach for China, Teach for India, or other Teach for All Network Partners who have served within the past five years 
  • Students currently enrolled in a University of Michigan graduate degree program
  • Citizens of a country on the United Nations’ list of least-developed countries
  • Applicants who are currently a Fullbright Scholar
  • Applicants who previously applied to the Ross Full-Time MBA within the past five years
  • Applicants who register and attend at least one Ross Full-Time MBA event before submitting their application

Our admissions team has been on a mission to break down barriers and increase accessibility for the future leaders of Michigan Ross. We want to provide you with the opportunities to expand your skill set, embrace leadership, and become the best version of yourself.

This change for applicants is active as of today, and we can't contain our enthusiasm. We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who applied before this momentous shift. We have been impressed with the quality and potential of our current applicant pool as we are in the final stages of our review process for Round 1. We won't be able to refund your application fee, but want to assure you that your efforts have been noticed.

For those of you gearing up for Round 2 and Round 3 applications, we've got you covered. Fee waivers will be processed based on the criteria you select in your application. Mark your calendars - Round 2 applications must reach us by Jan. 11, 2024, and Round 3 applications must be submitted by April 4, 2024, to be considered for admission to the Fall 2024 enrolling Ross MBA Class of 2026.
