Born and raised in Chandigarh, India, I wanted to experience and explore a different part of the world and decided to pursue a business degree from the University of Windsor in Canada. Upon graduation, I worked for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, most recently as a Sr. Financial Analyst, where I was able to gain an in-depth experience in Operations, Manufacturing Finance and Capital Assets and Investments. I then moved to Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority, a Canadian Crown Corporation responsible for the delivery of the $5.7B Gordie Howe International Bridge between Windsor, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan, through a public-private partnership (P3). In my current role as a FP&A Manager, I am responsible for managing a team of analysts and providing strategic financial advice to the executive leadership team. Over time during my career, I have had the opportunity to work with some of the best manufacturing and infrastructure executives and professionals in the industry. I have always noticed one common trait amongst them, that is their ability to utilize business acumen and communicate clearly in order to lead from the front. I realized that in order for me to get to that level I needed to broaden my business perspective and further hone my skill set. I knew that pursuing an MBA would be an effective avenue for this transformation. After talking to some of my colleagues who had completed the Weekend MBA program, and visiting one of the in-class weekends, I was sure Ross Weekend MBA was the program I wanted to be in. The structured and cohort style model of the program provided me with the flexibility to continue to advance in my career and earn an MBA from one of the Top 10 MBA schools in the country. If you are considering Ross and have questions about the program, application process or anything else, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
