The Evening MBA Association is dedicated to promoting the Evening MBA experience at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business.The primary goals of the Association are: To provide professional, academic, and social networking opportunities for Evening MBA students. To ensure continual Evening MBA student representation and perspective in Business School affairs. To contribute to the building of the larger Business School community by partnering with other programs and clubs within the school.   The Evening MBA Association strives to fulfill these goals through events and activities planned to appeal to the unique perspective and situation of the Evening MBA student. The Evening MBA Association serves as an information source and support organization for each stage of involvement in the program: prospective students wishing to learn more about the program, new and current students navigating their way through opportunities and resources available in the Business School while facing work/school/life balance, and graduating students transitioning to the Alumni community. EveMBA supported events include: New Student Orientations Prospective Student Evening MBA Information Sessions Academic Advocacy Programs Evening MBA Ambassador Program Career Path and Career Change Panel Discussions Annual Family Picnic Semester Kick-off Gatherings Graduation Celebrations Social and Networking Events Membership in the EveMBA is open to all registered Evening MBA students. We welcome and encourage students to become involved in the Evening MBA Association to maximize the potential of their experience here at Ross.
The Michigan Business School Soccer Club provides the opportunity for soccer enthusiasts of all skill levels to enjoy the sport by participating in a variety of different activities: weekly weekend scrimmages, intramural competition, outdoor and indoor intramural league games, national inter-business school tournaments in California and Texas, attendance to UM Men's Soccer games, game-viewing at sports bars and other social events. Play is typically at the recreational level, although some events are competitive. A modest membership fee is required, and partners are more than welcome to participate. To provide students at the Ross School of Business (MBA) interested in pursuing a career in the business of sports, as well as those interested in watching and playing sports, with opportunities to build and/or expand their network in the industry, learn from experienced professionals in the field, understand the different functions and career paths, develop a career plan, identify and capitalize on potential employment opportunities in sports, gather for sporting events and provide an outlet for recreational sporting activities. Ross SBA is proud to be a founding member of the MBA Sports Business Alliance, a coalition of top tier business schools focused on providing sports business job opportunities to its members. Founding schools include Ross, UCLA Anderson, Duke Fuqua, and Texas McCombs.
