Stephanie Velez

Before Ross, I worked as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte, leading system modernization projects for healthcare clients. While I enjoyed the analytical side of redesigning processes and mapping out complex systems, what I found most fulfilling was mentoring junior team members and creating inclusive environments where everyone could contribute and grow. That experience shaped my passion for pursuing a career in human capital consulting, where I can combine strategic problem-solving with developing people.

I chose Ross because I wanted more than just a top business education, I wanted a community. From the moment I stepped on campus, I could feel the collaborative spirit and genuine support that sets Ross apart. I knew this was a place where I’d be challenged academically but also lifted up personally, and that combination has been transformative. Being part of this community has reinforced my belief that business can be a powerful tool for both innovation and people development, and I’m excited to help future students discover that same energy at Ross.
