Jake Herges

I am a graduate of the Ross Full Time MBA Class of 2023. Prior to my time at Ross, I spent the first four years of my career working in Strategy Consulting at EY-Parthenon, focusing in the Corporate & Growth Strategy practice. I am now back at EY-Parthenon as a Director in their Corporate Strategy practice, serving clients in the Manufacturing & Mobility and Consumer & Retail sectors. 

I decided to come to Ross to help accelerate my career trajectory, explore additional career paths, and to help take a step back from what I had learned early in my career and apply it back to an academic environment. I chose Ross because of its enormous Alumni network, the hands-on learning opportunities, like MAP, and because of the incredible Ross community. 

My time at Ross allowed me to get the hands on experience I desired through my involvement with the Wolverine Venture Fund and Private Equity and Venture Capital Club. Additionally, I was heavily involved in the Ross community participating weekly on the Ross Ice Hockey team, serving as a MTrek leader, and being involved in the the Ski & Snowboard, Wine, and Maize & Brew clubs.
