James Sorrentino

Prior to Ross, I worked in various positions at a mid-market information services firm in Arlington, VA. At my firm, I specialized in serving consumer & retail clients and had the opportunity to work with exciting rapid-growth brands and F500 companies. In my role, I supported the diligence process for several M&A transactions and developed an affinity for the depth of expertise and advisory bankers played throughout the process. 

I chose Ross because of its well-rounded academic profile and extensive network that would enable me to develop hard finance skills and pivot into investment banking. In addition to learning finance, Ross is also a top school in the world of consumer & retail which parallels my work experience and the clients I will serve upon graduation. I was also drawn to Ross's vibrant community, the best college town in the world, and the opportunity to trade up for a better college football team.
