Roberto Mendoza

Class of 2024

Hello, my name is Roberto Mendoza and I am a WMBA Class of 2024 candidate originally from Mexico but I have been living in the US for almost a decade now. I graduated from ITESM - Campus Monterrey with a degree in Industrial Engineering and a minor in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. I have spent my entire professional career in different functions within Supply Chain, mostly in the Automotive industry.

I decided to pursue and MBA because I wanted to learn more about Finance, Marketing and Strategy and to potentially pivot into another industry and/or business functions. Being able to work full-time while going to school made more sense financially for me but also, as a non US citizen, quitting my job to be a full time student was not really an option. After looking at different programs around the Midwest I decided on Ross because its strong reputation, action based learning programs and cohort-based approach. So far, Ross has exceeded all my expectations in and outside of the classroom.

At Ross, I have been involved with the Sanger Leadership Center and the William Davidson Institute and I am also a member of the Social Committee of the WMBA student board and VP of Marketing and Comms for Out For Business. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions about my experience!
