Greetings from Ann Arbor! I am excited to share important information on our 2023-2024 application in this post. The Office of Admissions is working hard to gear up for the next admissions cycle and is excited to engage with prospective students on the road, in Ann Arbor, and virtually.

Before we get into the 2023-2024 application details, if you haven’t already heard, Ross really values action-based learning opportunities.  After completing their MAPs and wrapping up the academic year, many of our students participated in global learning experiences and Open Road at Ross. Also, our rising MBA2s have begun their summer internships around the globe, with many working at top firms in tech, consulting, venture capital, and social impact, among others. I’ve been so impressed with the culture here at Ross and everyone’s commitment to fulfilling our mission

Now, on to the stuff you’ve been waiting for! We are happy to share that the 2023-2024 application will launch later in July, and we want to share one change you can anticipate this year.  We have eliminated one short-answer question: “Pick one thing from your resume and tell us more.”  We will continue to offer the option to submit a statement of academic readiness in lieu of a standardized test score.  All other essay questions will remain the same.  Details on all components of our application can be found on our application requirements and FAQ pages.

Here are our required essay questions for this year’s application:

Part 1: Short-answer questions

Select one prompt from each group of the two groups below. Respond to each selected prompt in 100 words or less (<100 words each; 200 words total).

I was aware that I was different when:

Group 2

Part 2: Career goal

What is your short-term career goal and why is this the right goal for you? (150 words)
